More to share...

Here are a couple of layouts I finished up last weekend. Please forgive the poor photos and cropping. I really would like a wide format scanner! I don't much care about the wide format printer but I'd like to be able to scan wider than 81/2 inches.

This one is not my favorite. The process I used to create this was called "screw it up, then fix it. Sort of." Not my favorite process. This one I was much happier with. It was actually finished first. The white at the edge of the photos is stitching.

I took this picture at my mom's on the 4th. She has a lot more flowers growing in her yard than we do and I love to wander around and take pictures of them. It just turned out perfectly. I did a little color boost and a bit of a vignette but otherwise it's just as I took it. No cropping or fixing.
We got a bunch of new underwear for Owen today (Monday). He was pretty excited about it too. So much so that he had to wear a pair over his diaper to bed. So he's sleeping in his Elmo shirt and Lightening McQueen underwear! We have plenty of PJ's for him but those just weren't good enough. Not even the "roar" (dinosaur) ones.

The challenge for today at 2P's is: What was the first profession/job you wanted to be when you grew up?

Well, I played secretary a lot but I remember wanting to be a Rockette. I must have seen them on TV at a Macy's parade or something and since I danced I thought this would be perfect for me. I remember one girl in school, probably 4th grade, telling me they danced NAKED! I didn't believe her. Maybe it was true, but I didn't think so. And I've never heard that as an adult. But it didn't work out for me. I'm pretty sure even the girls at the end of the chorus line are at least over five feet tall! I still love to watch the high kicks though!

Love the layouts. Your little Mickey Mouse Owen is Adorable. As for the job as a Rockette. It would be a great profession. A tenant in a condo my grandparents managed was a former Rockette and she was the SWEETEST woman. The flower from the 4th is beautiful

You did a great job on your completed layouts! I really love the way you stitch on your pages. The photo of the flower is so delicate and fragile, it looks so pretty with the vignette.
