this is a fantastic photo! I don't believe ALL photos should be of shiney happy people, sometimes the most beautiful ones are of people being themselves or having a bad day. And he looks like he's really not happy with you. (LOL) It's a really pretty photo and I love that you opted to make it black& white, good choice.
Do you photo shop at all? I wonder what it would look like to make the tiles behind him a soft (really) soft blue tint? Don't ask me why but for some reason I think that would do something different to the photo. Just an idea. It's gorgeous none the less!
Pete, yes, I do PS. In Elements but yes. I used an action for the B&W conversion and then added a bit of a vignette. I'd not thought to change the color of the tiles! That's a good idea. It's why I converted it to B&W actually. The tiles are 1955 pink!
