I'm BACK!!!

We had a great trip to Montana. We arrived back in MN Saturday evening to 80˚ weather. When we left Morgan's parent's house it was about 35˚ and snowing with 8" already on the ground! The flight was uneventful with the exception of Owen not sleeping! But he wasn't too disruptive.
Yesterday and today has been spent cleaning and doing laundry. We were so busy the week before we left I didn't get the house cleaned and tidied like I prefer to leave it. So I've got to do it now. Morgan helped a lot yesterday so I'm feeling good about it.

While in Montana we did a short hike to Ousel Falls. Below are pictures. It was a gorgeous area and just the right sized hike for me. I'm going to use the photos to make a little mini album.

I took a ton more photos but all need to be processed as I shot in RAW. So I will be sharing lots more throughout the week! Happy Monday everyone and Happy Thanksgiving to my friends in Canada!

Thanks for the good wishes - we have turkey on the bbq as we speak and need to finish off my candied yams!

You got some great pics and sounds like you had a wonderful time!

These photos are absolutely beautiful! I can't wait to see more.
I also can't believe that it snowed 8" there! It was over 80 here most of the week and high 70's Sunday and today. Very humid.
I hope you will be able to catch up with things in the next few days. Its always hard to come back to reality sometimes.

Yay, you're back! Glad you had a good time, and you got amazing photos, too. I had to look up Big Sky on a map and I'm so jealous. My hubs could get a transfer to the Billings refinaery but refuses because he's a pansy when it comes to being cold, (pout). I, otoh, am often in constant sweat mode. And I'd love to live somewhere before I die that actually has 4 equal-ish seasons. You gave me a good idea though. Now that we are no longer tied to DD's school years, we are gonna take a vacay to MT, lol. Thanks for the inspiration!

So glad you're back, I've been in serious Heather withdrawal... :( but you're back now so... :)
Stunning photos! The colours are so rich and vibrant and the falls...oh my the falls! The waters are so silky...you gotta teach me how you used that shutter speed because I'd love to have the same look. Wow I feel totally inspired to whip out my camera and start shooting!
And thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes, we had a low-key celebration just the 4 of us, it was very nice :)
