So I'm not really a toot my own horn kind of person. But today I'm going to because I'm really excited about this! Remember these collages?? The ones I completed in November and submitted to be included in a book?? Well it's THIS BOOK,
and yesterday I got a copy of it! With my artwork in it! With other artists artwork! And the essays written by the author. A REAL BOOK THAT YOU CAN BUY AT AMAZON!!! I was so excited! Fortunately Morgan was still up at midnight when I got home from Girl's Game Night and found the book on the table. It was addressed to me (the box) but Morgan had opened it anyway seeing how he doesn't get much good mail anyway and the mail he does get he doesn't open. Anyway, it was on the table and I thought, "what the heck is this??". And then I looked at the return address, which I didn't recognize, and then opened the box and there it was. THE BOOK WITH MY ARTWORK IN IT! On pages 161 and 163! And my name in the back with my blog address! It's been so long since I submitted them and I knew they were going to be in the book but I didn't know if both collages would be or where they would be so I as thrilled to get the book and see the collages and my name it. And it's a good book. At least so far, I've not read the entire thing yet, but many of the essays already. You can check it out at Amazon. So that's my toot for the year!
